Our Founder

Founder Rick Goche hates waste. Decades ago he attacked the waste he saw in the live seafood business where high mortality rates of live crab and fish was considered a cost of doing business. Rick found that unacceptable and revolutionized the live seafood business on the Pacific coast of the U.S. Rick has been working with water, air and keeping things alive for most of his life. He has worked for Oregon State University as a fisheries research assistant, a commercial fisherman, a live seafood wholesaler and a live seafood systems consultant. Rick has designed and installed live seafood systems for decade’s always innovating ways to keep things alive. Rick hates waste.

It has only been recently, however, that he focused on applying his innovative aeration technology to hydroponics and soil based gardening. His son Mason first alerted him to the waste in hydroponics aeration. Mason used his dads aerators in hydroponics and it became immediately clear to him that his dad’s air diffuser is a far superior diffuser than anything currently on the market. It lasts years longer than the imported, disposable, diffusers widely used in hydroponics and soil based gardens.
